Ankylosing Spondylitis

It is a kind of spinal arthritis which mainly affects the spinal vertebra joints, resulting in stiffness , pain and inflammation of the spine. It is due to ossification and fusion of the outer ring of the intra vertebral disc. Due to this fusion of the disc there is lot of inflammation and pressure. These changes can be limited to any part of the vertebral column. These changes are due to activation of auto immune system which results in remodelling and fusion of the vertebral discs resulting in ankylosing spondylitis.

As such there are no treatments for this disorder traditional therapies are pain killer medications or surgeries. However, these treatments offer some relief from pain but are not a cure. Stem cell therapy offers a new approach to treat this disorder as it will address both factors e.g. Immune modulation as well regeneration of the damaged tissues.

Stem Cells Therapy: Stemcells Medicare Protocol

We at Stem Cell Medicare have been giving treatment to patients for orthopedic degenerative diseases with autologous mesenchymal stem cells derived from bone marrow, with great success. From half the bone marrow stem cells are separated by special machine and injected directly at the site of damage. The remaining bone marrow is sent to laboratory for amplification of stem cells and imparting cytoplasmic markers for making muskuloskeletal tissue progenitor cells. These progenitor cells are injected by intra venous drip.

We strive to design protocol for each patient to suit his needs. The technique is quite effective, safe and without any side effects.

The entire medical procedure at Stemcells Medicare consists of 4 steps:

Qualification For The Treatment

Source Extraction

Laboratory Processing
